General Description:
-Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation : It is one of the most important economic sectors, which are effective and contributing in the comprehensive development renaissance process that Yemen has been witnessed and still witnessing for all through half century of time.
-The Corporation is subject to the institutions' public law. It applies the unified financial and accounting system and is subject to periodical financial and accounting control, in respect of preparation of the estimated budgets and the approved final balance sheet; ditto, with regard to the developmental plans and methods of their implementation. The Corporation practices its financial and administrative activities in accordance with the ad hoc law for its establishment and in accordance with Law No. (35) of 1991, concerning the State's Public Institutions.
Human Resources : -
-The volume of manpower at the Corporation's ports, according to 2012 census, is about (1389) laborers and employees representing different categories and various professions; such as captains, engineers, technicians, administrators and else.
-And all the business of the Corporation are currently covered by the cadres of specialized local and holds a ( higher) qualifications there are guides maritime and captains of owning a certified master of the high seas and there are marine engineers who owns a certificate Chief Engineer in addition to many others who have PhDs and Masters in various technical aspects and technical and engineering.
-And the institution use from time to time some foreign expertise as a consultant in some aspect of the technical aspects minute addition to use in the field of training and skills development to keep pace with developments and changes .  
Training and Rehabilitation Center:-
-The nature of the work of the Foundation and to a large extent depends on the sea side both in terms of guidance sea or marine engineering so the institution and since the beginning of the nineties almost started to pay aspects of training and qualifying great interest and proceeded to scholarship many local cadres and working in the organization in many disciplines required did not stop at limit the marine aspects only, but included various technical aspects and other engineering
-As a result of that A center for training and rehabilitation  was established in the port of Hodeidah for  implementing the various qualifying sessions and training for all employees and workers of The corporation in the port of  Hodeidah and other ports affiliate (Mokha, Salif) and in different fields( technical , administrative and  marine ) and according to plans and training programs studied and prepared in advance, as required by the operational requirements and to keep pace with future developments.
